The client wanted to move from their simplistic CMS to a more robust one. In particular, they needed a case study submission workflow that allowed users to submit multiple case studies, while being able to view their submission status. The case studies, once approved, would need to be accessed via a nested category filtering system, as well as through a map. The new CMS also needed to export each case study as a PDF.
I developed the backend useing our in-house CMS, Eero. I built a custom case study submission system. The submission form spans three separate pages, allowing the user to jump around from section to section before they submit it. Case studies can be filled out by a guest, or users can create an account to manage and submit more than one case study. Each case study requires an address, which we will use to get the longitude and lattitude to display on a Google Map. I also used FPDFLib to generate each case study PDF dynamically.
