Life at HOK

Challenge:

HOK wanted a blog that would allow their employees to write about architecture or anything else they wanted.

Solution:

The site is powered by Wordpress. We used a number of plugins that are freely available, as well as building a custom plugin for authors to manage their author page. Each author has a short biography listed on the author listing page, and then a long bio with a photo on thier individual author page. They also have the ability to display or hide their email, and link back to their HOK office page within the HOK.com site.

The site has been immensely popular within HOK. In fact, within the first two months of going live, it had over 250 posts.
