Vimeo Badge Widget

Challenge:

TOKY had a number of clients that wanted their Vimeo videos to automatically display on their Wordpress Blog. They often had multiple video groups or channels that they wanted to display. At the time, there wasn’t an automated way to incorporate a badge into a Wordpress blog.

Solution:

Wordpress had just released their Widget API. I used this as an opportunity to give it a try. I was happy to find out how easy it was to create widgets. I created a simple widget that gave the user flexibility in what they wanted to pull in, as well as flexibility in determining how it is displayed.
